Hi there
was at Formby beach the other day and took some photos. One of which had my dog in with the sea in the background. On the original photo there were two people in the background that i'd like to remove. I'm a complete novice with photoshop but after a quick google found out about the patch tool.

I've had a quick go, but i was wondering if there is a better and more accurate way of removing something from a photo. I'll add the original and it after i've had a go with the patch :)

Thanks in advance :)

Hope you don't mind, but I was bored and thought I'd have a go :)

This is just removing the people from your original with the clone stamp...

And here I've messed with the contrast and levels...

Nice dog BTW :)

Thanks for the responses! Used the clone stamp tool and I think it's come out better than my first attempt :) Also, like what had been done to another image in this thread I clicked Auto Contrast once and I think that has also made it look better.

Very nice Craig R. You can still see a bit of the outline of the person on mine. At least i'll just improve with practice :)
