Photoshop CS5 annoyance

In CS4, when I dragged a document into Photoshop it would always open as a new document. I've just upgraded to CS5 and now when I drag a file into the app, it opens as a new layer in the currently active document, which is getting annoying.

I've looked everywhere to try and find the setting to change this, but can't find it. Can anyone enlighten me please?

Cheers

AFAIK you can't change it, and yes it is really ******* annoying.

To open a file from drag+drop you now have to drag it on to the tab bar showing open files. If you drag on to an empty workspace it will open as a new file.

Didn't know it would work if you drag it to the tab bar, guess I'll have to get used to that.

Cheers.

It took me a while to get used to as well. Why they changed it, I don't know. Surely more people drag+drop to open a file, rather than create a new layer?

Either way CS5 is a downgrade unfortunately, usability wise.
