I have been sent a logo with text and a paint splash. The text is easy to replicate and size up. However, the Paint splash is a really low Res and when i try to make it bigger it pixelates and looks horrible!

Is there anyway I can make it bigger (to any size i want)? I think the term is vector?

I have tried some conversion programmes but had no luck, REALLY NEED HELP :(

Im not recreating it cause its a complex (i think) image

A vector file is resizable to any size without loss of quality, however to get a vector you will need to re-create the image in a vector format any way.

There really isn't a way to do this - however some things you can try are, when resizing don't just up the size but also add more dpi - photoshop will "make it up/guess" for you and the result will most likely be rubbish but not as rubish as without upping the dpi.

There are some progs about that you can put images through that will do a slightly better job, but names fail me at the moment.

As the going says put carp in get carp out - you really should be saying you can't work with what they have provided and could they provide a higher resolution image or a vector image
