Can anyone here tell me how to erase all the ink seep from the other side at the top of this scan? I've used up my book of manuscript and short of me going out and buying another book, I'm trying to print off a bunch of blank manuscript but need to clean up the scan first. In Paint, I can use the eraser tool and it simply whites over those bits like a normal rubber eraser, but I'd prefer to use photoshop so I can revert any mistakes when I accidentally erase some of the stave lines. But I can't figure out how to use the eraser tool in photoshop. Unless I have a layer, it doesn't seem to just white over or erase in the normal way. Is there some easy method?

just copy image then use a bit thats white would take 1 min tops. all image is almost indentical simple paste over top of ink bit with white

Thanks guys. Didn't really understand how to do the PS instructions you and Dg gave, but yea, thanks for the template, much easier. :D
