Photoshop guru needed

Hi

Im having a hard time getting a red heat rash off a picture of my sister and her new child in the photo. my simple thought of just using the magic clone tool is not working

Anyone kind enough to have a tutorial on how to do it for a simpleton like me I can only ever find ones on removing spots or sorting the whole persons skin tone. I can send a copy of photo if needed but dont really want to post it on the net without her permission.

If you want a quick way to remove redness in the skin in Photoshop create a new Hue/Sat adjustment layer and click the drop down box and select Reds. Push the Hue 5 points right and drop the Saturation 10 points, then just paint it in at a low flow/opacity where you need it. It's not the nicest way of getting rid of red skin but it is fast
