I figured this be the best place to ask as its about photoediting and all that.

Anyhow im having trouble making a nice asteroid field. I want to make a asteroid field by making them all at the same time without making one asteroid at a time. I tryed using clouds then diff clouds then adjusting the bri/contrast up and down so it makes ball shapes but its not really a good asteroid shape balls. So was wondering if anyone knew a better way to get this effect.

if u can post the example image i recon i could fiddle quite quickly and come up with something.

Few filters like radial blur, on a few brush marks might work. Dont know what im working with though.
What would u want? asteroid trails or huge rcks shapes. Im al little confused.

Just something like a asteroid belt/field effect loads of tiny medium and large asteroids (layered). To give a depth looking field.

Close up photos of stones on a plain background (white A4 paper) with even all round lighting (eg outside on a cloudy day) to eliminate shaodws.
