Photoshop help

I have 2 images - One of a pier/jetty thing

and one of a nice sunset

They are of the same lake but slightly offset.

What would be the best procedure to over the jetty on the sunset picture and it look like it supposed ot be there?

cut out the jetty, paste into lake

but then you'd have to shadow the water for the jetty, change brightness and contrast of both to get them balanced, create some displacement around the jetty legs etc

yeah the copy and paste part - no probs!
is the rest of it...i just had a go and ended up with it looking worse!

5 minute effort, lasso tool + some eraser cleanup and a change of the levels a little.
