Hi guys need a bit of help.

I'm trying to remove the picture on the wall, and keep the wall looking how it would be without the picture hanging there.

clicky for pic

How would I do this? What's the best technique to do it?

If anyone fancies doing it and posting up how they did it that would be great.

Thanks. :)

I've had a quick go:

First of all I used the Clone stamp to get rid of the frame. I followed this with the Healing Brush to make it look less obvious. I then sampled the colour of the wall on the left side near the top and created a gradient to white on the top half of the wall excluding the person. I set this layer to Soft Light, duplicated the layer then set the duplicate layer to Screen with opacity settings of 10% and 5% respectively. This helped to make the wall seem as if the frame hadn't been there in the first place. I also adjusted the levels for the gradient layers to get them to be closer to the original's colour.

Probably nothing amazing, but I'm not as good as some people on the boards. :p
