Photoshop Help

I've made a logo up but when I put it into ads, social media etc it goes all blurry, I've been told I need to make it a vector shape which means I can resize as much as I want and it wont blur out? I have photoshop is this enough or going by a lot of posts that I need illustrator as well? Is it an easy process?

OK thanks ill give it a shot I'm new to photoshop as well so just learning myself. Think my problem is that I made a logo on one of the free websites then screen snipped it and tried to use it like that but its quite some so ill try make it from scratch on photoshop.

Of your not busy that would be great, see what you think about it but don't worry if you can't as I have plenty time on night shift tonight to start again. I will send you a trust.
