I'm looking for some help restoring a photo for my wife which our cat has destroyed.
It's the last photo of my wife and her grandfather and had been sitting on a shelf when our cat took a dislike to it this week and tore it in half.

I've had a go at using some online tools to restore myself from a scanned image but my skills are lacking and I'm not even 100% sure it can be fixed. Any attempts welcome, and yes I do know how these things normally go.

Help me OCUK, you're my only hope.

Link to the image in question - I cannot for the life of me get the img tags working following the instructions in the useful info thread

I suggest you print this and frame it, then get her to put it on a table or wall. She will never know, we will, and that's the beauty of it.

Also I will think about this every night before bed, knowing that someone has this masterpiece in their home and doesn't even know the absolute genius of it.

Indeed, another day, another disappointment from @mrk

This pleases me, it shows that at least two people have not got it yet which means OP's wife has no chance of seeing it either, further adding to the sheer comedy value.

My breakfast tomorrow will taste greater than anything you have ever tasted!

Reminds me of a friend who had an ornamental plate that I spotted a mile off had been glued together. He reckoned he smashed it 10 years prior and his parents had never noticed.

Ahhhhh I see it now.

Meow.

Also, send brekkie pls. I've definitely not been celebrating SA's victory over the scots.

There is no such thing as a crazy cat person!

My recipe is this:

Weetabix (Protein version)
Slice up a banana/strawberries and/or grapes. Chuck them into the weetabix bowl
Heat up some cow's milk and pour in
Ready a mug of Chai or Earl Grey
Take some Regal puffs or Golden Oreos from the biscuit jar
Dunk biscuits in the tea
Have a little tub of jelly
Depending on time, maybe make some fried bread with butter too and add some jam after. Dunk the slices in the tea.

Yums.

Haha, thats an impressive cleanup job - thanks! I'll try it and see how long it takes her to notice!

Don't suppose you have a version with the original background though, to save my *** if she does spot it. ;)

OCUK does not disappoint as usual!
