Photoshop installation

Hi there,

I am in the process of installing CS4 and there are a lot of additional software that is installed with it.

Does anyone know of a website that gives a quick rundown of what each one is and does.

Which bits do you usually install or leave out?

Will just installing photoshop suffice or will I be at a disadvantage because of it?

Also, is it me or does photoshop install both a 64bit and a 32bit version at the same time? I'm on Vista HP x64.

I install Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier and as little as possible else. I've installed the extras in the past and they've just sat there taking up room.

I also have Photoshop Lightroom 2. But that's not included in CS4 (alas )

How did you get on with your CS4???

Ive got what i thought a decent rig, 4Gb ram,quad intel core, 3Tb HD's
and a Nvidia 8800 GTS card, but CS4 does wierd things.

Mainly if i have an image open, and do anything to it, for example use the
grad tool, i have to click on something to make it refresh...

put a marque on the image, have to do the same, for everything.

CS3 works fine, and ive re-installed it again so i can do editing.

Any clues?
