Hi guys,

I use photoshop a fair bit for tweaking websites elements but I am not an out and out designer. I just poped on today to fix a few things and as usual, I used cmd + t to transform a layer.

Before today, this has always just given me a scale transform as the default, if you hold shift it will keep the aspect ratio and if you move the mouse outside one of the corners it will allow you to rotate. This was perfect.

Im now tearing my hair out because for some reason whenever I click cmd + t it gives me the warp transform. Im having a bad day at work and this is sending me into a rage.

Please help.

Actually, ignore me, apparently this is a know problem with cs5 and osx 10.6.5. Brilliant.

Cheers buddy,

It seemed to be working for about 2 minutes earlier today after a restart but it soon started playing silly buggers again. When you are doing lots of resizing, it does your nut having to go to the menu->down to free transform->scale rather than just a nice little cmd+t.

Im just lucky im not a designer by trade.

Delete the preference file:

Option+Command+Shift when opening photoshop

or delete:

~\Library\Preferences\adobe photoshop cs5 settings

This will reset all settings to default, worth a go!
