photoshop layers

wonder if anyone can help with this...

I have 2 photoshop files each containing about 30 layers, basically I need to save each layer out as a seperate jpg is there a quicker way of doing this other than going through each layer 1 by 1 and saving them?

I'm sure there is but I don't know it lol

You could try creating an action but you would probably find that it would take as long to create the action as it would to save each one individually!

I think I would duplicate the file, close the original, and on the duplicate make sure they are all the layers are visable, then starting at the top, file save as, jpg, then delete that layer and keep going like the socerer's apprentice!

IIRC theres a script option under the File menu with one call 'Export Layers to files'. Have a look for that and see if that's any good.
