Hi,

My Photoshop colours have been messed up for a while now. They're kind of... red. When I save the picture as it comes out fine, but when viewing in PS it's horrible.

Right colours:

Wrong colours:

See the screenshot of part of my background in picture two is too red, in picture 1 it's the right colour.

your colour management is screwd up!
Photoshop uses colour management to try to get the colours right. Its kind of like a calibrating mechanisim.

What you need to do is the following:

EDIT >> Colour Setting >> and tweak around the settings there.
I use the following:

I just set them to what you have them on and it's still got a horrible redness :(

I have also set them to the same as my bros (his colour settings are untouched... although mine are as well) and it still keeps the horrible red :(

in the settings drop down menu select your monitor. If its not there then you may need to install your monitor driver

Hmmm, where do I select my monitor? Can't find the dropdown menu you're talking about :(

remove your monitor driver from display properties (as in uninstall it and use plug&play monitor driver)

-these are windows settings not photoshop

had the same problem a few months ago

Oh right, okay, I thought it was something in photoshop.

My screen is listed in the settings & I haven't installed any drivers, I'll try what you said anyway :)
