but it hasnt. what am i doing wrong ?

Have you restarted photoshop? The plugins are loaded upon opening.

If you have then I would try restarting your computer, if that doesnt work then you have the plugin in the wrong place I think.

tried both :(

ive put the latest RAW file converter plugin in the same folder (my Panasonic FZ8 uses a new version of RAW not found in CS3 apparently) and that now works fine

so its the right folder

anybody used noise ninja before ? or maybe this would be better in photography as noise ninja is for removing digital photo noise.

1. Click here to download the self-extracting zip file. (6 megabytes)

2. Remove any previous versions or copies of the Noise Ninja plug-in from the Photoshop Plug-Ins folder.

3. Unzip the downloaded file (by double-clicking on it) and choose the Photoshop Plug-Ins folder as the destination folder for unzipping.

4. Restart Photoshop and open an image. Go to the Filter menu. There should be a submenu labelled "PictureCode", with an item "Noise Ninja". Select it to launch the plug-in.

5. When the plug-in is running, you can access help, preferences, and license information through the menu bar at the top of the plug-in window. A PDF version of the help is available in the "doc" folder.

6. If you have purchased a license go to the plug-in's Noise Ninja menu and select "Install or view license" to unlock the software. You may use the software without a license but it will run in trial mode.

Followed them correctly?
