Photoshop request

It's a boring one I'm afraid lads, but my photoshop skills are non existent. I need the white background taken off this png so I can just put the little fellow on an ad. Any of you chaps able to do this for me please? Thanks if you can.

It comes from wikiclipart. Says its free to use.

It's only for use on a newsagents ad so my retired dad can get some oddjob work. Its hardly Balfour Beatty's is it!
