Hi Guys, I am trying to photoshop a pic like a police lineup, but make it look as realistic as possible but having problems making it look 'right'. My first attempt I just removed the background completely, again it doesnt look quite real, and my 2nd attempt I tried to keep the background but change the colour to white. Can any of you guys give any tips that I could do to make it look better? I dont mind starting from scratch.

Thanks:)

Prefer the first style. Try cutting him out without the shadow from the camera flash. And make the white more uniform, less grainy.

Thanks Joe:) I have been trying to cut out that shadow as you suggested - its quite tough to do, I think I need to leave it in. Yeh the grainy style makes it look a bit more 'policey' doesnt it!

Whatabout these -Ilike the b/w but I need it in colour really.

Taking it again in front of a white wall would be probably be easier. I'll have a go now.

Edit: it looked ok. Photoshop's extract tool is what you want for this.
Yeah, good job. Too many lines though, it looks like tiles ;)
