Photoshop tutorials for 'cartoon' colouring?

basically im looking for some more tutorials that produce effects like this :

also what sort of objects would be worth doing to start with?
maybe shapes or something?

im not a very good drawer but still :p
just need to finish the shading then its all down to photoshop :)

ok ive done one, havent followed those tut's because most of the settings are missing in elements 4 :(

I'd say do the shading at the colouring stage. Play around with blending gradients into the blocks of colour etc. Have you tried doing any vector art? As it would be very easy to block the colour in with these sort of drawings, using something like Adobe Illustrator or the pen tool in photoshop.

i haven't tryed any vector art yet, got any good examples?

meh, its still practice though ;)
 
does the book show stuff like different techinques to do and that?
ill look into it anyway :)
