Already have a couple of monitors (though they'll likely be upgraded in future).

Looking for a system for around £900. I'm going to need Windows too.

Mostly for Photoshop (CS2, but work upgrade imminent) and some video editing work, though I do like to hop onto Steam from time to time.

I'd like a system I can upgrade in the future if finances allow... and if someone is feeling particularly fruity I like red and black as a colour scheme.

Thanks in advance for your wisdom :)

That looks solid. I think I'll need to upgrade that DVD-Rom for a DVD-RW though. I don't know a great deal about Sapphire graphics cards either - but reading about that one it looks solid enough.

Thank you :)

Slightly over budget

GTX 760 > R9 270X for photo editing I believe? May be wrong though, but you should be able to use CUDA acceleration on a wider variety of editing software over OpenCL, though OpenCL is getting wider support
256GB MX100 SSD
Large PSU (650W), Agos has excellent features for a £40 case - even rubber grommets for cable routing!

However this is £40 over budget :(

I meant to put a dvdrw in the spec lol , The cuda cores on the 760 may come in handy if the software uses them

I wouldnt skrimp on a b-grade item but it is a nice way to get the budget down, Sneaky Shivy ;)

The Samsung are probably the best SSD'S out there and the Samsung Magician software is awesome.

Why not? :D They are very often just open box DSR's and haven't been used much, saves a nice amount of money and still sometimes has manufacturer warranty and 90 day OcUK warranty which should be more than enough time to run tests etc

Do agree with the Samsung SSDs though, but I have 2 MX100 drives in systems and both are really great - not sure if it's worth the extra for the Samsung though :(
