Photoshop won't save anything??

I am trying to open images resize them and then save them. I can open them with no problems and resize them with no problems. But when i try to either save as or save for web photoshop just crashes??

I was using it last night and all was well. The only thing I have changed is installing a new x1900 card and an akasa fan controller .

Could it possibly be the card? Everything else is fine, temp of the card in ccc is 48deg. Anything else that could be affecting it? Should I reinstall photoshop?

Reinstall Photoshop, if that fails, reinstall your graphics card driver. If that fails try a different driver.

Ok tried everything you suggested and still nothing .

Afer looking at the space on the C drive though thinking this maybe the problem as there is only 1.36GB left on there could this be causing the problem? Looks like I am gonna be totally reinstalling everything tomorrow as then i can repartition and get more space for the c drive.

I experienced this one when I had a lack of space of the drive I was wanting to save to. I know make sure I always have at least 4Gb of room before I do anything in Photoshop.

Thats the thing though, on the drive I am saving the image to there is like over 100GB of space. On the drive with windows on (my raptor) there is only 1.36gb so all i can think of is that this is causing problems, so will sit down tonight take a deep breath and format and re partition my raptor.

would changing the scratch disks make any difference?
