Ive just got myself a panasonic FZ8 with RAW functionality, so far loving the additonal functionality, and ive been having great fun adjusting stuff.

Has anybody got the time to briefly explain their work process' once they import their RAW files ?

theres so much on the net about photoshop, im confused as to what people actually use, as opposed to what photoshop can do.

i start by opening my raws in the phosho raw viewer, where i go thru my shots and edit colors and exposures to correct any mistakes from the days shooting. then i save my favourites to jpegs, this leaves the raws as originalsto keep. i then open the selected jpegs and finish there editing in phosho with cropping and brightness and the such or a BW conversion border them and save as a name so i still maintain the original jpeg always leaving myself a back up in raw and jpeg.

i dont really do overly much editing i just correct little errors from the shots that can occur
