Hello,
so i've created a website based upon a portfolio design i've had for a long time, I can't say i've ever had this issue before, but this is quite odd,
I have tested my website on multiple browsers when I first uploaded it yesterday evening and it worked fine. The issue I am having is once I logged on at college the footer image (located outside the wrapping div) is appearing in the middle of the page content. I find this quite odd, but if anyone could help i would appreciate it greatly.

could you provide more info to re-create this, such as browser and version your college uses? Its fine for me.

Also a screenie would be good
 
I think he meant a screenshot of the problem :)

I can't see the issue. I've tested in FF3 and IE8 and the footer image aligns the same in both with the text 'iusiudsfiudhnsf' in the top left of the footer div.
 
lol epic :p i meant a screenie of the SITE not the about window ;) confirmed its only on IE7 though as far as I can see

anyways have you tried putting a div between the footer and content, with the style clear: both; as if you are using floats then sometimes this happens unless you clear properly.

alternativley, just stick the blue footer graphic as a background for the body and align it to the bottom
 
IE 8.0.7000 (Windows 7 Beta) Compatibility Mode - Normal mode it looks fine.

Check your markup using the W3 Validator, it can often point out simple errors that cause this sort of problem.

Ok think I have sorted an issue, seemed to be related to the float for some reason, anyway i believe I have sorted it by changing a few values in the CSS. If anyone can see, i've checked on my side and all seems fine =D

I will look into it, it just seems odd theres been a few cases for this it seems, I checked out my other pc's all with different res' and seems to be showing fine, I will look into it though, Thanks for letting me know.
 
Works fine for me on FF3.0.10 @ 1680x1050.

You may want to add a larger gap between the footer image and the T&Cs text as it makes it a little hard to read.
 
Displays incorrectly for me on Windows XP, Firefox 3.0.11 @ 1920x1200. I'll spare you the massive screenshot (unless you want it? if so post back and I'll sort it for you). It essentially renders the same as for RobH except the footer displays below the blue containers on the right.
