Hi

I am looking at helpdesk solutions and have been looking around but struggling to find something to suit me. It's only a small internal helpdesk. Free preferred but will pay a reasonable amount if it does what I want at the end of the day!

- User log in via something like OpenID so users can use their email (Google) logins to log in - I don't want them to have to remember yet another username and password.

- PHP/MySQL to run on a Linux box.

- New tickets via email or the web site.

- Option of private notes for support members but not to be sent users.

Pretty much the norm basically, except users logging in with their Google details, that's where I am struggling.

Thanks all

I've tried two before:

osTicket - http://osticket.com/ - Open Source so you could download it and have a play, fairly basic but can do most of what you require I believe.

Kayako - http://www.kayako.com/ - Much more features including live chat and such like, I really liked it. It's a paid solution though but you can request a free trial to check it out for 30 days or so.

Hi BaJ

I have had a play with osTicket but I can not find any support for the OpenID/signing in with a Google account type stuff.

I'll take a nosey around Kayako though, cheers :)

Thanks
Michelle
