PHP IF/Else Statement

Hi All

Got a total mental block at the moment and cant work out how to do what I want on PHP.

I need it to check if a field is set to Y and if it is, I want it to show the following code.

<span class="grade_disclaimer"><?php $text = nl2br($row_recGradeDisclaimer['content']); echo $text; ?></span>
