Hey, I've got a presentation in Uni tomorrow.

I've got to show the php coding that I've done. The problem is that I'm using a computer in the supervisors office, and it doesn't have Dreamweaver or anything similar on it. I was wondering if there is any free software that would allow me to see/edit the php code.

Thanks.

It's on windows.

I don't want to use Notepad because as you know it's a nightmare to read.

I tried Notepad++, but when I try and open a .php file it says its not a valid Win32 application.

Are you not allowed to bring in your own machine for the presentation? I have a presentation on Friday for my final year project but we are allowed to hook up laptops to the display in the room.

Thanks for the help guys.

I managed to get Notepad++ working now, it wasn't working before because I had downloaded the files from the server on to a Mac and was then attempting to open them in Windows.

Also, I've only got an eeepc in terms of a laptop, so I think that would be a little small to take in.

I'm taking in my NC10 netbook which has a tiny screen but I'm going to be hooking it up to the display in the room. My project requires a lot of configuration, not something I want to be doing 5 minutes before the demonstration, I want to go in with everything setup and ready to go. Which Uni you at anyway?

Aston. You?

I thought I would be doing it in a room with a projector and stuff, but I had a look today and it looks like it's going to be one of the lecturer's office, so I'm going to have to use the computer that's in there.

Same, Aston, I'm a Computer Science student. Mine is in room 214E which I believe is one of the small meeting rooms. There will be a computer setup in the room but my project tutor told me to bring in my own if possible as it saves on the setup time and will be guaranteed to work, no last minute software issues.

I'm doing Computing for Business.

I'll be in room 214A. Who's your supervisor?
