PhpBB version 3.0.8 problems, can you help?

I'm setting up an online forum using PhpBB as its a free and very useful tool. The Version is 3.0.8 but i'm having problems setting up categories. As you can see (click here) I have already got 1 categorie set up as it was already there, so all I did was changed the name... I was even able to set up 2 forums within that catagorie being Discussion and Pictures. Now over the last few days i've tried different ways of setting up a new catagorie to show on my forum but can't get my head around it. Its probably something very simple, I've googled it, reinstalled it but i just can't seem to find the solutions. I would be very greatful if someone could help me with this so i can crack on with my project

Under 'Manage Forums' in the ACP, there is a text/button to create a new forum. Click the button, then change 'Forum Type' to Category and 'Forum Name' to the name of the Category. Then you can add Forums/Sub-forums to this category by changing the 'Parent Forum' to the category name.

Edit - Obviously make sure you change the forum permissions for the category and forums/sub-forums.

thanks mate that was what i was doing wrong, i wasn't setting up the permissions. Days and hours trying to figure this out and BOOM!!!! something so simple
