phpmyadmin

Am trying to install PHPmyadmin on a local web server, using IIS.

Now I managed to get mySQL installed without too much issue and php installed without too many problems, however I keep getting the same error with PHPMyAdmin

MySQL said:

#1251 - Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client

Any ideas?

Edit:Came accross this: http://forums.mysql.com/read.php?11,6400,6731#msg-6731 which says that should solve it, but it hasnt.

Solved:

mysql> SET PASSWORD FOR
-> 'some_user'@'some_host' = OLD_PASSWORD('newpwd');
