Hi All

I've had a look around and I can only seem to find confusing answers for this question :(

My PS4 is the Hong Kong version. No problem there. They're all multi-regional.
My copy of Horizon Zero Dawn also seems to be Asian in origin. Still no problem.

However my 'account' on my PS4 is set to the UK with a UK billing address and UK credit card and such.
But I want the Frozen Wilds DLC. I'm super worried that downloading from the UK PSN store will not play nice with the Asian HZD Disc (even though I play on a UK account)

Does anyone have experience with this issue or have a solid and non-rambling answer? :D

After doing more research, it seems that DLC is not region free.
Meaning that although I am free to play a HK version of the physical disc in my HK PS4 on my UK account, I cannot download DLC through that same UK account and have it be compatible.
This seems kinda stupid :(

It seems there is a workaround, if I create a HK PSN account and then download the DLC, and THEN switch back to my UK account, the DLC should be playable.
But that's a lot of faffing around and I can't be bothered with the time or risk.

Poop.... was looking forwards to The Frozen Wilds too.

Thanks for that, my SF5 is the US version but with the Arcade Edition coming out I will have to log into my US store and add to cart from there :(

This isn't always the case as some DLC is then locked to the account that purchases it (ie. you would have to play it as your HK account). I'm not sure if this is the case with Horizon Zero Dawn.
