hello all
im very excited, just ordered my new rig from cyberpower ! oooh yeah

just been looking at physx cards BFG and ASUS PHYSX P1 AGEIA PHYSX

whats the deal with these 2 ? is one better than the other? there only seems to ever be these 2 on ebay
any info, advise would be vey much appreciated

thanks

My advice, dont get it at all. Hardly any games support it and in all honesty youd be wasting your money.

ASUS PHYSX P1 cards used to have twice as much ram but BFG asked them to label them as the same as BFG cards and once stock was out only produce low ram modules.

Few game support the PPU but it’s worth it when it works. Just the FPS boost can be worth it. With games being faster like UT or GRAW 2 its not useless and games like GRAW 2 look better with a PPU.

http://www.ageia.com/developers/index.html press the fluids button very impressive

It may be worth it when it works......

....I used to have a friend with a go-kart that was always in the garage and he said it was awesome to drive when it was running. I lived next to him for years and never saw the thing run a single time.
