PhysX Drivers

Okay, mini rant.

What is it with games requiring these to be installed, no matter if you have a PhysX card or not? Why can't it just assume that if you had PhysX hardware, you'd have the driver installed, otherwise you don't?

For me this must rival GFWL for the award of the most unnecessary, irritating bull****.

Because the PhysX Libraries are needed for running on the CPU as well.
