Speaking of Quad SLI, when are OcUK doing some pre-built PCs with that in?

At the moment the drivers don't work properly.

Were hoping to get better drivers in approx a week and once were happy its stable we shall offer a system for sale. But GX2's can only be sold in systems and not seperately.

Any benchmarks coming soon?

The Crossfire system was hitting 16,000 3D Mark 2005 points and over 10,000 in 3D Mark 2006 with a mild easy overclock and that was without the PhysX card present, plus it was on the older A8R-MVP board too. So now with the newer Dual X16 lane motherboard and PhysX it should be even quicker with far superior game realism with the PhysX accelerator.

So if we want Quad SLI we have to buy a pre-built system?

Yes you do I am afraid. Nobody will be selling it seperately until approx May/June 2006.

Have you actually got anything that will use that physics processor that you've tried running on those PC's? Also, what's the noise on the Physics units like, looks like it's got quite a whiney fan.

Its all about future proofing a system for when PhysX becomes a major requirement for hardcore gamers. The fans are low speed, basically can't hear them.
