physx test on vantage fails

wonder if anyone can help me
im tring to run the vantage test on my new 5870, performs all tests ok, then when i get to the 2nd cpu test it fails
" physx creation system failed "
any ideas on how to get round this ?

It should have installed physx components when it installed... if you upgraded from an nVidia card and uninstalled the drivers it might have removed it - you can download the physx drivers seperately from the GPU drivers from the nVidia site and install those.

so i can use nvidia physx drivers with an ati card ?

Yes you can use the drivers, but they wont use the 5870. It'll just do the physX stuff on your CPU.

They run on the CPU (much slower) when an nVidia GPU capable of CUDA isn't found.

So I just download physx drivers from nvida and this should fix it
