Hi there im running a asus engtx 480, do i still need a dedicated PhysX card with this if so can i somehow use a asus engtx 275 ?
If so how would it happen.

Not needed, one card can do physx and handle the game. You will get better performance in physx games with the 275 as a dedicated physx card though. Install the driver after both cards are installed and there will setup options there for the setup. Some of the drivers used to auto set the second card as physx card, but not used Nvidia for awhile so not sure anymore.

You don't need one, no. The only reason you'd want one would be if you were playing a PhysX-enabled game at settings that made your 480 struggle. Then a dedicated card might help alleviate the load. It seems unlikely to me that you'd need one, and even more unlikely that it would be good sense in terms of value for money.

But if it came down to it, and you had a capable PSU, then yes a 275 would work as a dedicated physx card.

Edit: well-beaten to it.... :)

Mafia 2 uses a lot of physx, I have 2 470's in SLI and a 8800GTX for physx. I run the game in 1920x1200 on high with some AA/AF, with the 8800 as physx I get 9-10 FPS more
