Hey, im just wondering if it would be worth using a spare 250 GTS i have laying around as a Phsyx card with my Asus 6850? Or just using Physx from mx CPU (which i think is possible)

seems not to be used much now days, and never had a standalone card for it either myself, always looked nice but thought it should be a one card solution etc

Ok :), what do you mean by making things complicated? Ive never tryed to run a AMD & Nvidia before

You answered that question. You will essentialy be running 2 different cards with 2 different drivers. It may not work like you would hope. TommyBhoy is the man who will help if you do have any issues.

There are times when a dedicated PhysX card will actually degrade performance, but it seems hit and miss.

No harm at all in giving it a go if the card is just gathering dust. Try it and let us know how you get on!

Thanks for all the feedback, i was just curious on which would make more sense (from a GPU or CPU). Im definitely going to give it a try thougth
