Pi5 as android TV box?

Not sure about the pi5, but I do believe guys on this thread may know the answer , its probably one of the best threads on entire internet with regards to the best media players on the market.

The nvidia shield is still a top seller and popular that it probably will keep going on and on sadly.

I think many have moved over to am6 plus and Coreelec, I did myself since it feels smoother during 4k hdr playback and it supports dolby vision better. The other option is a mini n100 pc with LibreELEC installed, its very powerful and fast but lacks DV support but probably would be faster then anything going.

Still worth checking last 30-40 pages and skimming them or the first page to see if its been updated, need to catch up myself since not read it for few months.

I think that is what he wants, n100 mini pcs with libre elec are very popular due to speed of playback, especially high bit rate mkv, 2.5gb ethernet for higher transfer speeds or wifi 7.

The navigation around libre elec menu is also very fast, compared to shield or am6+.

Iv bought a few android games that are good like streets of rage 4 and turtles, android TV is very easy to navigate with a remote control but just wish the shield TV had better CPU to run the native android games properly
