Piano application played via midi keyboard?

Simply want a piano/synth application (free) to practice piano via a midi keyboard.

Must be velocity sensitive...

I'd be quite interested in this too, if you find anything could you post it up? You might be better off asking in the music forum.

Whilst not free, I was having a look on YouTube and EastWest's samples (e.g. Quantum Leap) sound very nice.

Trying Kore Player at the moment, and seems quite a nice simple synth player with midi input!

Certainly has a couple of simple/nice velocity sensitive pianos, along with some lovely synths too!

Seems large install though, so there must be a simpler/smaller way of doing it
