I love my vertical slat blinds I bought last year for my new house, got them in a gray colour too.

Might seem officey to some folk or old fashioned but nearly every house I see these days have either horizontal blinds/shutters or those weird blinds that look like zebra crossings.

One of these are found in offices and one isn't

The most boring of boring office desk setups:

Still waiting for the office infrastructure guys to move my floor box back towards the wall to stop having all the cables going down the middle of the desk, but moving to a new building meant I could at least buy some new kit
Cherry KW X ULP Keyboard (ultra low profile Cherry switches) with matching Cherry Mouse..
And 2 x Dell 3225QE productivity monitors (120hz/calibrated/ambient light sensors)..

Shame I can't really take advantage of the view out the window, we get Deer/Foxes and other wildlife milling around on some fields next door but I'm too far back in my office to really take advantage, I'd have to spin the desk around and have my back to a glass wall..
