Pic: Your desk...RIGHT NOW

Game time.

Tempted by that mouse mat, the one I have is just the dark grey and light grey one.

Has anyone got any inspiration for me on desk lighting?

My garden room office has 12 GU10 bulbs that track outside colour temp; but the one directly above the desk is a bit jarring so I've got it dimmed vs. the other 12. It means my PC area therefore is a bit drab.

I'm thinking some backlighting around the monitor-- but I have two and I am likely to change them; so maybe one of the light bars?

I was also checking out SAD lamps but I think a lot of them are BS?

They just look larger. On the page of the ones I have, there is a link to those ones, saying there is a newer version.

Edit - the ones I have are listed as RGBICWW, the ones you did just say RGBIC. No idea what that means in real world terms.

Thanks - I think the WW is important (or at least the W is important). Ended up going direct to Govee; with voucher the RGBICWW was £37 delivered. Thanks!

Just trawling through the thread looking for ideas for my son's room which I'm going to be doing up in the coming months; and as inspiration to myself to get my own desk tidied up.

Once things that I always struggle with is the need for so many USB leads everywhere for all sorts of different devices. How do people deal with them and keep them tidy?

Right now in my setup I have USB for:

Keyboard
Mouse (it's a wireless model but the battery life is annoying so I keep it wired.
Stream Deck mini
Webcam
Microphone
Audio mixer (well technically it's a midi controller (x-touch mini) but it's used for audio mixing)
Dongle for my 8bitdo controller
Blynclight

I've got a powered USB hub so I can keep stuff plugged in etc but it's hard to get it tidy looking.

These are great for trailing and hiding cables under and behind the desk (along with a usb hub):
