Here is a shot that has been in the planning for 6+ months, only now have I managed to get the time and conditions to get it done. A 30 minute drive a 30 minute hike across moor land and this is what confronted me

I would consider cropping some of the sky off and making a nicer panorama.

Some of the shots in this thread are really awe inspiring. I can only hope to one day get anywhere near some of the level shown in here, but we all start somewhere I keep telling myself.

Could there be space for another thread covering "street photography", because I don't know whether to post my stuff in here or the portraiture thread.

Nice, considering I'm only down the road from Bristol I've not taken the camera there once (bar trips to the zoo!).

Nah, I would feel dirty.

I prefer the sky left in. It adds a more surreal feel to the image. Lost of motion capture in the image, the waves, sun's rays and the darting vapours in the sky. Breaks the rules of traditional landscapes, which is why I like it.

I had a go at the milky way last night. Never tried before so these were just test shots fiddling with settings and post processing.
