Just got one of these and the wing has snapped! Is this suppose to happen lol?

Just a normal ground crash and it came off, I think it was damaged in transit as the box was pretty beaten up.

Also whenever it takes off it flys around pretty uncontrollably, did this before wing broke off it is now taped on, is this suppose to happen or is it because im a n00b? All I do is put the throttle up and it spins out of control.

Advice needed team OCUK.
 
If it starts spinning around madly when you take off you need to use the trimming in the opposite direction to which it is spinning to make it go straight. I've had to do this pretty much every time ive used it after re-charging the battery. Once it hovers correctly its good to go.
