Basically what type of hdmi cable do i need to work with 4k content? I i tend to plug it into my pc. I imagine a cheap cable is pretty much just as good as any other really for the average user?

Is it 2.0 i want? What sort of length can i have before i notice any issues? Pc is at one end of the room, tv at the other. Can close the gap a bit. Room isnt huge tbh

I find 18Gb/s cables work best. For instance, the cable that came with my PS4 Pro would not produce a signal on my KS7000, but a spare high speed cable I had worked. Same with my ultrawide high speed monitor. The screen kept blinking, but finally worked when I plugged in a high speed 18GB/s cable.

BTW - don't buy these cables from Currys. You can buy the same cables from the rain forest for 10 quid.
