Popped into a local game store earlier to have a look around and they had a load of pre-owned Gamecubes with Resident Evil 4 for £24.99.
Thought that was a decent price so decided to pick it up, got to the counter to be told by the guy there that they were pretty much brand new as they'd got them from some warehouse but they couldn't sell them as new because of something or other.
And it is indeed completely new :D Everything is sealed up and never been used.

Bargain imo for £24.99 :D Been wanting to pick up a copy of Resident Evil 4 for a while and heard off Davey_Pitch iirc that it's better on the cube than the PS2.

This is my 3rd gamecube funnily enough. They had quite a few others but that was the only Resi Evil one, the others were for Pokemon.

Thats a very decent price, we got rid of our Gamecube when we got the Wii, but I've been thinking of picking one up for the bedroom for a while now.

I've only played Resi 4 on the PS2 (infact still need to finish it) so you will have to let me know the differences.

There is a quite a few differences between the PS2 and GC Resident evil 4 if thats what your asking mainly graphical :) GC Being better

Resi4 on the GC is obviously superior once you play it. The atmosphere (due to graphics) and controls are much better.

I have a good as new boxed gamecube for sale if you're interested with a couple of games. Mail me (mail in trust) if you interested :)

Just had a brief play. Quite impressed by the graphics :) Should be fun over the weekend :D

yeah these cubes are new. I only know this as i work in the shop in question. I think they were bought in france or something and then shipped over. Oh well 24 squids for a new cube is a nice little price :)

i bet thats the same chain as the shop near to me. They have a few silver gamecube mario kart bundles for £24.99. Was quite tempted

Theres shop here with **** load in stock, sell them for £15.99 with a game, obv pre-owned

But I dont need one, emu *** ;D

Resi1 shows what all remakes should be like.

Absolutely. I doubt there will ever be a better remake because that one was absolutely major, yet it managed to maintain every element of the gameplay that made it a great game in the first place. The more remakes you see being made you realise just how good that one was.

I'll have to pick up all the Res Evils for the Gamecube I think. Missed out on the PS1 ones as that kind of game didn't interest me at the time.

I'd always take a retail console, they are ALWAYS better.

Yup :) I like collecting them anyway. I still regret selling my mint condition Dreamcast a little while back to pay for my car tax :(

I used to collect consoles, had pretty much everything you could think of, but moved in with my other half and as such had to sell everything, my 2 Dreamcasts (USA and UK) and games was the only thing I kept, even sold my 2 Neo Geo Pockets :(

You have to make sacrifices. You should have sold the other half.

Good call ;)

I was tempted to find a copy of Twilight Princess but looks like it's pretty pricey on the Gamecube so I probably won't bother. Might pick up Paper Mario though.

That explains why you're always so bitter :)
