So I sold both my 911 and GT4. I wanted something new that was not a 911. I was willing to consider anything. Strangely I bought a 4.2 V8 cayenne but the sale fell though and I spotted this.

I also picked up a run around.

So first the fiesta, it’s a 1l EcoBoost Titanium X with 125 BHP.

The fiesta has come a long long way since my last one, its such a good little engine, it has full leather, Bluetooth, quick clear windscreen. It seems to have more than enough power for what it is.

The M6, well it’s a animal, so quick, the sound is amazing. It does not have as much grip as my 911 did and its quick easy to light up the traction. Its awful on fuel, I think I got 20MPG on 40 mile run home and I was not pushing it.

I love the fact that you can change the steering, suspension and engine settings independently.

So far I have not driven it much but will get it out for a proper drive in the next few days. Its nice to be in a modern interior with lots of toys, the heads up display is really good and well worth having.

If I was to buy another one I would definitely go for one with B&O sound and Nappa leather.

Its been a long time since I have owned a BMW, I don’t think this car will last that long but I think I am going to look for a nice i8 to run along side it.

Nice M, bit different to the Cayenne  Apart from the fact they are both boats!

Can't see you keeping this long, you will miss things... like errr traction and facing the correct way after coming off wet roundabouts... especially at this time of the year :D

Do like the colour though... oh and the Fiesta... best wee car out there I think.

Nice Fiesta, and great engine :)

Don't even think I have seen an M6 before - first look at it was what model of BMW was that. Only 6 series' that I have seen are normally the convertibles.

Nice Fiesta,I would rather the colours the other way around, think the BMW would look better in silver and vice versa.

If I was to buy another one I would definitely go for one with B&O sound and Nappa leather.

Could you not find one with that spec? If that's a biggie then why not wait for a thus specced example?

Anyway enjoy the Fiesta, I'll look forward to the BMW replacement thread!

My wife ran a new 1.0 125PS Titanium X Fiesta for around six months (with lots of options, including 17" wheels and Nav). She really enjoyed driving it, but I didnt really like it.

Man by all rights a pair of nice cars. But for some reason that BMW aint exciting me at all, I think the M5 looks a damn site better. But hey the only modern BMW M car that excites me is the M2.

The Fiesta will be fun and handy for Winter, but this just seems like one huge step backwards from some of the awesome cars you have owned, sorry whereas for some M6 might tingle their senses I just look at it and think oooh it looks odd and is in poo brown colour.

But we know you now, your car decisions are random and odd at best, which I have to say is maybe sometimes the best way to be as you clearly demonstrate it means you get to try lots of different cool cars.

My issue is I like holding onto the damn things, lol. :D

Is the numberplate straight on the M6, as my OCD is going nuts... :p

I'd have gone with the GTS personally. :D

Nice but...blue brake calipers? :(

Standard on BMW M cars, I was a little shocked by them when I spotted them on my mates M5, they looked a bit well not justifying of being on an 70-80k car. The whole car seemed a bit lacking for that kind of money inside too, but it did go well. :D

They stop well though which is what matters most! :)

I don't think Dr House is going to be caring to much how it looks when he leaves 95% of whats on the road in his rear view mirror.

That M6 is a beast. Good purchase

Its definitely a step back in terms of the other cars I have owned but you have to remember they where £60 to £90k this is only low to mid 40s. Personally I think it looks much better than a M5 and has a much nicer interior.

I just took it out for another spin as someone said the back end is really twitchy in the wet. Hopefully I will get to take it for a proper drive soon, so far I'm happy with it, I love the colour.

Awesome car.

Also, assuming that's your wife in the background. She does not look happy :)

lol no its my Mum, im 35:D

But yes she was not pleased when I rocked up in this
