well... got to be honest.. well chuffed with it :)

will do some pics tomorrow if I can, and try to do a video with some nice sound so you can hear the noise

my only concern.. they have replaced 3 of the tyres for brand new pirelli p6000's.. but left the rear left 'Goodyear Eagle Tourer' on there.. do I need to get this changed? or is it safe?

I'd change it mate, i've had funny things happen with odd tyres on the same axel, looking forward to the pics ;)

seeing as you seem to have been pretty dam positive about the car, if your at the next RR day, feel free to come for a spin ;)

You've bought a Puma? What have I missed?

Hope it's a FRP...

do you not read threads :p

I crashed the focus last week dodging a golf GTi that prefered my side of the road to his.. (he proceeded to drive off, and the police cant trace the partial plate : / ) so I needed to either repair the car (and got quoted over 1k, which on a car I was considering changing I couldnt justify) so I took it to ford, saw a puma, took it out for a spin and loved it... cant afford a massively pro performance car as im wanting to move out, so ive gone for this in the interim... get me used to petrols anyway ;)

just a 1.7 VCT sadly merlin, not a racing one.. but getting extra power is cheap ish, so it might be pushing a bit more power soon :)

You can bet i will be at the next RR day i will return the favor and take you for a spin in the MX.

i thought you were looking at things like s2k's and ctr's?

:o

still, pumas are a nice shape imo, the 1.7s are meant to be quite good arent they?

Nice car you got. :D I wouldnt worry, its not like the 1.7 is that slow. Out of interest what engine did your Focus have?

I was indeed... and then I realised I wanted to leave home :p

basically, Id prefer to get a nice house and an ok sporty ish car... than just a sporty car...

1.8 TDCi...

the 1.7 is quite nice, but 1st gear is a bit  .. it just takes too long to get going !

lol...im probably just still trying to get used to it again... that and I dont want to kill the clutch on the first day :D

Remember your old car has 250Nm torque, the 1.7 Puma only has 157Nm!
