I have now tried about 3 times over the last 2 years to replace my Iiyama 2202WS 22" TFT. There is nothing wrong with it - but I'm finding the amount of inputs is tiresome as I cannot plug an Xbox 360, PS3 and my PC into it at the same time.
Every time I've tried to replace it I've found nothing that takes my fancy and given up. I'm now trying again.
I keep finding monitors that would be perfect BUT. I was all set on a Samsung S23A750D until I found out it has just one HDMI in and one Displayport and nothing else.
Can anyone suggest something? I like the idea of a monitor like the S23A750D - which looks excellent and is ultra-thin and modern looking. My PC is used mostly for gaming, web browsing and the odd movie.
I did want a 27" but I'm beginning to wonder if its a bit big. I never find the 22" too small and I sit about 50cm from the screen.
The TV market is FULL of really nice looking, stylish, ultra thin displays at low prices. The monitor market by contrast seems to be the opposite.
So, my requirements:
a) 23-27"
b) Three inputs - either 2 HDMI and a DVI, or 1 HDMI, 1 DVI and 1 VGA, or 1 HDMI and 2 DVI, or whatever - I don't really mind how they are configured but there must be three.
c) Budget? I've no idea. What do I need to spend? I don't want a £500 monitor but I've no need for a cheapo one either. £180-£280ish?
Am I doomed to this Iiyama for ever?
