I am after some nice fast ram for my m/b and I am after some help choicing the right sort. I was running 8gb of Corsair Dominator ram but have hadsome issues just lately and after doing a mem test found that two sticks were bad so I will be rma'ing them soon. Since this is the third lot of this ram I will have had to return (on two different m/b and cpu's) I dont really want to use it again. I have 16gb of Kingston Hyper Blu that can get me out of trouble, but I find it is real slow.

So I am on the hunt for some more memory, my cpu is an AMD1090T and my motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-880GA-UD3H, I use the pc for some gaming and some photoshop work also for my music so what are my best options.

What speed of Kingston Hyper Blu do you have?

There's no point in swapping one lot of 1600MHz RAM for another and swapping 1333MHz for 1600MHz isn't suddenly going to stop your PC from being "real slow", whatever that means.

This is the Kingston Hyper Blu memory I have http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-098-KS

My pc is not real slow it is just noticably slower with this ram fitted no matter how I fit it ie 2x4gig or 4x4gig. I only purchased this ram when I had to RMA the Corsair ram and was waiting for it to be returned (over two months)
I was running 8gig of Corsair Dominator 1600mhz ram 4x2gig part# tw3x4g16009d but as a pair has now failed I am down to 2x4 which is still appears to be quicker than the Kingston Ram.

Due to the length of time it took Corsair to retun the last lot I sent back and thats its the third pair that have gone bad, I doubt if I will be buying their Memory.
