Hi

Can someone please help me i want to upgrade my graphics card but i am not sure if it will work.

I am currently running an Ati readon X850 XT

And I want an Ati readon HD 5450

Please can someone tell me if it will run

Thanks

They will both be written on them. There are ways to get the motherboard details but as you'll need to take the side panel or case lid off to see the PSU label you may as well look at both physically.

Googling shows me it's a chipset. Download CPU-Z, and under the motherboard tab it will tell you the motherbaord model: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

As for the power supply, I have a feeling it's an old one you may need to consider replacing soon. Should be fine with a 5450 though, what's your budget for the graphics card?

This is what comes up when I open cpu-z i only tells me the SIS-651 thing

Well damn. It also shows the graphics card is AGP. Looks like all the current PCI-E cards won't work with your motherboard :(.

Might be better to get a new PC instead?

Ok

I was going to make an custom pc I found all the bits and for an good price of 400 pounds with new parts which can run all the lastest games but i just can't get the money.:rolleyes:
