Picking up at Heathrow

Hello all,

I'll be picking my friends up, landing into LHR T2 at 9:20am on Wednesday.
Question: where can I 'wait around' if I am a bit early, nearby to Heathrow?
I'll be coming from M25 ACW (from the M1), and picking up from the Terminal with the insane drop off / pick up charge

I'd probably find something like a McDonald's or a petrol station on Bath Road near the tunnel into T2 and wait there myself.
Not sure exactly what's still there as its been a few years since I was up and down every week going to Staines!
