Picking which graphics card

Picking the last couple of bits for my new machine so I can order today but can anybody tell me if there is much difference between these 2 cards. Plan on using the finished machine as solely a gaming machine.

Asus GeForce GTX 780 Direct CU II 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

The radeon also has the benefit of having 8GB of ram free with it so its something I wouldn't need to budget for if I went for that.

Well my main game ATM is WOW but I know they are going to be releasing the new Metal gear solid onto PC so will be wanting to pick that up.

My budget for my Desk top is roughly £1000 if that is any help.

Do you need an OS, monitor, keyboard and mouse?

no its just the Desktop its self I already have OS etc.

I've always used NVidia in the past so unless there is a performance difference I would prefer to stick with them.

Also been advised to use a SSD for running windows then get another HD for everything else

I'd go with the 290x personally but for WoW I think the 780 performs better.

H105 in a Neos? not going to happen - the Seasonic 850W would probably be a better option, and you should be able to get a 2TB Barracuda in
