A friend of mine has made a website which allows users to upload photos and apply different effects and put the photos into others seamlessly to create great effects and new images to show to friends family and colleagues.
Would I be able to post the link to the website here? There is no financial gain on either his or my part, whilst there are some small ads, these barely generate revenue, and anything they would make goes on hosting - so I would hope this is ok? The site has only just been launched and he is just testing the water as it were, and trying to see what people think of the idea and any suggestions or criticisms.
I will post some examples of the generated images, but they contain the url in them, and until I have confirmation posting the url here is ok I dont want to.
An example of one is you can upload a photo, then type in a headline and subheading, and you will get a new image of a screen with a mock BBC style headline under the image which looks really genuine
Another example is a large billboard sign where you can generate text onto it.
Another is uploading a photo and this image being altered to appear on a coin - this works great with a headshot as it looks really great as if your face is marked on the coin.
